WALKERSVILLE — After spending most of his time in a Walkersville football uniform as a slot receiver, senior Colton Amoriell is returning to the position he played growing up. It’s also one that comes with a strong recent legacy.

Amoriell will be the Lions’ starting running back in 2025. He’s being asked to replace graduated star Da’Marques Ross, who rushed for 1,974 yards and 28 touchdowns last year as one of a number of elite backfield standouts for Walkersville over the past few seasons.
