ELLINGTON, Wis. (WBAY) - One person is injured after a two-car crash in Outagamie County on Wednesday evening.

Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office responded to County Trunk S near Cummings Road in the Town of Ellington for a report of a two-car crash.

Authorities say that their preliminary investigation showed that a mid-size truck towing a boat was traveling east on County Trunk S when the driver lost control, crossing the centerline and striking the driver’s side of a full-size truck towing a dual-axle trailer that was traveling west on County Trunk S.

The driver of the mid-size truck, a 32-year-old man from Hortonville, was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. No update has been given on his condition.
