SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -

Former Syracuse star basketball player Tiana Mangakahia took to social media on Wednesday to reveal that her health has taken a negative turn.

In 2019, Tiana was diagnosed with breast cancer while playing at Syracuse. She returned to the hardwood, becoming SU's all-time assists leader. On June 5th, 2023, Tiana retired from the game of basketball to focus on her health. The cancer had spread to Stage Four.
