An alliance has been formed between the Estes Chamber of Commerce and the Estes Valley Contractors Association.

The contractors association’s board voted last week to form the partnership to provide a new organizational model for members of the Estes Valley’s construction industry. Developer Frank Theis, who heads the association, said in a chamber news release that the Building Advisory Committee will continue to be a resource on construction-specific matters. The move to integrate will also mean the dissolution of the existing association’s board, with the chamber taking over management of communications and organizational assignments.

Businesses that want to be active members of the alliance will also be asked to join the Chamber of Commerce.
