A Guided Bird Walk will be held at 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Willow Bend Natural Area, 2538 E. First St.

Experienced volunteer birders with Loveland Open Lands and Trails will help spot and identify resident and migratory bird species in the area along the Big Thompson River, including raptors, songbirds and waterfowl. Leisurely walk on natural-surface trails along ponds and wetlands, about a 1-mile trip.

Binoculars, water, sun protection,and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Park in the upper (main) lot and meet at the south end of the parking lot by the Willow Bend Natural Area kiosk sign.

Ages 10 and up are welcome with an adult. Registration is recommended; visit offero.cityofloveland.org.
