Duke football looks for its first top-25 win under coach Manny Diaz as it hosts No. 11/12 Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Wallace Wade Stadium (Noon ET, ESPN).

The Blue Devils are coming off a 45-17 season-opening win against Elon, one that saw quarterback Darian Mensah complete 79% of his passes for 389 yards and three touchdowns. Illinois also rolled in Week 1, routing Western Illinois 52-3 behind Luke Altmyer’s 217-yard, three-touchdown performance.

Saturday will be just the third meeting between the programs, with the series tied 1-1. Duke won the lone matchup in Durham, 15-13 in 1958, while Illinois claimed the most recent contest, 28-14 in 1965, in Champaign.
