CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A 31-year-old man was shot several times in the chest and killed in Cincinnati overnight, police tell FOX19 NOW.
The victim’s name has not been released and no arrests have been announced.
The city’s latest fatal shooting happened on Craft Street in Winton Hills just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was found down on the ground, outside a car, with multiple shell casings around, said Captain Stephen Bower, the night chief.
The man was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Bower said he was notified just before 1 a.m. Thursday the victim had succumbed to his wounds.
The suspect is described as a man wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and black pants who carried a black backpack.
