PORTSMOUTH – Families from across the Seacoast are invited to downtown Portsmouth, Sunday, Sept. 7, for the Seacoast LitFest Book Fair, a new community event that is free and open to all. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Chestnut Street, in front of The Music Hall, will be transformed into a lively, outdoor celebration of reading. The event will include local vendors, live music, concessions, and a special immersive reading experience inside The Music Hall’s Historic Theater.

One feature of the event includes a giveaway of more than 800 brand-new books for children and young adults, provided courtesy of BankW Staffing.
