New 'world class' UK theme park unveiled with hotels, lakes and arena
An unusual new theme park with no rides could open in the south of England. Puy du Fou, known for creating award-winning history-themed destinations in France and Spain, attracts 2.8 million visitors annually despite its lack of roller-coasters.
Now the brand, which is one of Europe's highest-rated theme parks, has unveiled plans for a UK site, reports the Mirror .
At its existing bases in Toledo and Les Epesses, Puy du Fou stages dozens of action-packed shows featuring gladiators, Vikings, Middle Ages warriors, and more, engaging in sword fights, horse riding, and pyrotechnics. These two sites are frequently ranked among the world's best theme parks, earning 25 global awards between them over the past five years.
