While no one struck jackpot gold in the $1.3 billion Powerball drawing Wednesday , plenty of tickets across the country won big prizes, including in Illinois.

According to the Illinois Lottery, one Powerball ticket sold in Illinois matched five numbers to win $1 million. Six other Powerball tickets sold in Illinois scored $50,000 each, the Illinois Lottery website showed, and more than 100 winners snagged $100.

At the time of publication, it wasn't known where any of the winning tickets in Illinois were sold, and the Illinois Lottery did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago.

Million-dollar Powerball tickets were also sold in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, Ohio and Pennsylvania, lottery officials said.
