The most important stat for every Islanders forward

There will be hockey on Long Island this month.

Over the next few weeks, the Islanders will open rookie camp, then training camp, then start the preseason at home against the Flyers on Sept. 21.

So, like last year at this time , we are going through every player with a chance to make the 23-man roster and looking at one stat from last season that will set the tone for this season.
