The first week of the NFL regular season is here, and so is Nevada football's first home game. Major League Baseball is in its home stretch and the US Open is wrapping up.
Here are some of the top sporting events this weekend, and where you can catch them on TV in Nevada.
Where to watch Nevada Wolf Pack football vs. Sacramento State
Wolf Pack football opens up its six-game home schedule against the Hornets, an FCS Division I program; the two teams haven't met on the field since the 2004 season. Nevada holds the lead in the all-time series, 17-9. Nevada fell to Penn State, a top-five team, last week. This is the first game of the season for Sacramento State.
Kickoff is at 2 p.m. PDT for the Nevada Wolf Pack-Sacramento State Hornets game at Mackay Stadium in Reno on Saturday, Sept. 6.
