Benton Harbor Mayor Marcus Muhammad made a trip to Lansing this week to meet with state Senator Aric Nesbitt.
Muhammad told city commissioners Tuesday he was going the next day to discuss the housing crisis with the senator and gubernatorial candidate.
“ And how the city of Benton Harbor, we need to partner with developers, partner with the state, so we can provide every creative incentive in order to bring a diverse housing market, whether it be low income, missing middle, affordable, market rate, high end,” Muhammad said.
