Ivy Tech is launching a series of Saturday events in Columbus and Franklin for high school students interested in STEM.

The Green2Gold STEM Saturdays Innovation Series are free hands-on workshop for students age 14-18 to explore cutting-edge technologies — from drones and electronics to 3D printing and virtual reality — while building real-world skills.

The series kicks off Sept. 20 with a session on drone aviation at the Columbus Campus.

Future sessions will be in Franklin and Columbus, each tailored to spark innovation and discovery: • Soldering and Electronics: Students will learn the fundamentals of circuitry and safe soldering techniques.
