ERIE – Cross country teams from Blissfield and Sand Creek traveled to Erie Mason early this week to compete in the Frank Connolly Relays.

The relays are a different type of event than what most cross-country runners and fans are used to, as runners enter the race as teams of two, with both runners alternating running a mile rather than the traditional 3.1-mile course usually run at cross country meets.
