Korean megastar singer, actor and performner Park Bo-Gum has been set to star in an untitled historical drama from A Taxi Driver director Jan Hoon, we can confirm.
Park Bo-Gum will star in the currently untitled film with fellow Korean star Kim Nam-Gil ( Pandora ). The project is described to us as in the vein of King Lear and Succession , charting the rivalry between two princes over a renowned Korean painting. Filming is due to begin in mid-October.
The project marks Jan Hoon’s first film since 2017 box office and critical hit A Taxi Driver , the second-highest grossing movie in the territory that year.
Park, the first and only actor to ever top the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, is known for film and TV projects including Hello Monster, Reply 1988, Love In The Moon
