How Wes-Del football is staying locked in after canceled week two game

Wes-Del football has not started the 2025 season how they had hoped.

Part of that wasn't entirely unexpected. The Warriors opened their season on the road at Alexandria-Monroe and lost 47-0. Alexandria looks to have a strong team this year and is receiving votes in the latest USA Today Class 2A rankings.

The other part of Wes-Del's rocky start was unexpected. The Warriors needed a bounce-back victory after the tough opening loss, and they were prepared to do exactly that in their week two home opener against Tri-Central.
