Park Synagogue in Pepper Pike will celebrate 25 years of service by three of its clergy at “Honoring Park’s Clergy at 25,” set for 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at 27500 Shaker Blvd. A sponsor dinner will precede the event at 6 p.m.

Rabbi Sharon Young Marcus, Cantor Misha Pisman and ritual director Gadi Galili all joined Park Synagogue at the end of 1999, marking their 25th anniversary at the close of 2024, Development Director Carol Wolf told the Cleveland Jewish News. While the evening will celebrate the contributions of the three clergy members, it will also serve as a fundraiser to support Park Synagogue’s programs, operations, and overall mission.

“Our cantor, our rabbi and our ritual director – they’ve all been there 25 years, they all start at the same time, and we’re honoring them,” Wolf said.
