Earlier this week, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Carolina Panthers were one of the teams that were interested in trading for Micah Parsons, but they were unwilling to include defensive tackle Derrick Brown in the deal. Apparently, Kenny Clark really was a big part of the trade, at least on the Dallas Cowboys’ end.
Now, Adam Schefter is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles “made a strong play” to trade for Parsons. Ultimately, the Cowboys “had no interest in trading Parsons in the division,” per Schefter.
