BURTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Beaufort County investigators are searching for a motive and a gunman who fired shots that struck a home in the Burton area multiple times.

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday night, dispatchers received calls about shots fired in the Grays Hill Acres area. Deputies arrive to find a home that had been hit multiple times.

Deputies said people were inside the home when the shots were fired, but no one was hurt.
