For the “long bus ride home” following the University of Regina Rams’ first victory of their Canada West football season, running back Marshall Erichsen knew where to sit after his four-touchdown performance.
“(Erichsen)’s a great team guy and we like everything about him,” said Rams veteran centre Riley Schick. “He comes up to the O-line all the time and says, ‘Hey, thanks, boys!’ or ‘F***, ya!’ or ‘Thanks for the hole!’ on his way back after a long run.
‘He’s always a guy who will come back and hang out with the O-line at the back of the bus. Even though we won, it was a long bus ride home after playing an overtime game.”
