Beyond the field, it also means new experiences for fans attending games in person. Tailgating is a common way spectators get into the gameday mood in the parking lot of the respective stadium.

But with the rising costs of food and tariffs, fans will have to dig even deeper into their pockets to enjoy their time. Askari Williams, a resident of Birmingham, Ala., wants to have the gameday experience while acknowledging the difficulties.
