Plane passenger uses AirTag to track down missing luggage and makes 'insane' find
People who have purchased Apple 's AirTags – tiny, coin-sized gadgets that house a potent tracking chip – have discovered a myriad of uses for them. They can be utilised to locate misplaced wallets, stashed in a car's glovebox, or even attached to a pet's collar.
Frequent traveller Daniel Scott tucked one of the £30 devices into his suitcase before jetting back home to Los Angeles following a trip to Salt Lake City in August – and ended up with an unexpected surprise.
Upon disembarking at LAX, all he wanted was to collect his suitcase and head home. However, there was a mix-up with the baggage handlers and the passengers from Daniel's flight were initially directed to the incorrect carousel.
