“ Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild ” will return to NBC’s “The More You Know” educational and informational weekend program block for its third season on Oct. 4. It has also has been renewed through the 2028-2029 season.

The third season will follow wildlife expert Peter Gros and ecologist Dr. Rae Wynn Grant as they travel across the globe to showcase stories of wildlife conservation.

Their explorations will include speaking with conservationists, tracking wolverines in the rugged North American backcountry, examining Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and more.

In partnership with conservation brands and organizations like Fahlo and Tourism and Events Queensland, each episode will highlight the efforts made to protect wildlife.
