Matheus Cunha says he will be ‘back soon’ after being forced off in Manchester United’s win against Burnley with a hamstring injury.

Cunha was replaced after 31 minutes at Old Trafford last Saturday as Ruben Amorim’s side needed an injury-time penalty from Bruno Fernandes to seal a 3-2 victory over Burnley.

The Brazilian forward was seen walking without a limp outside Old Trafford after the game which eased concerns from United supporters.

‘It was hard to lose Cunha and Mason Mount, because Mason Mount played 30 minutes with an injury,’ said Amorim.

‘I’m concerned about that, because they are so important for us. We will see.’
