Something has seemed off with the Auburn fan base since kickoff last Friday in Waco, Texas. While the family certainly enjoyed that assertive opening victory over Baylor, plenty of its members have come across as too cool, too calm and too collected.

Despite the program’s biggest road win since Bo Nix ended a two-decade drought in LSU’s Death Valley in 2021 - one of the more impressive performances in the country in Week One - the AP voters as a group didn’t see fit to rank the Tigers in the top 25. So Auburn’s SEC-leading drought in that department extended to 56 polls.
