LSU baseball head coach Jay Johnson and two assistants are set to receive new contracts after the Tigers won the 2025 national championship, their second in three years.

Johnson will become the highest-paid college baseball coach in the country with a new deal that tops $3 million annually and runs through the 2032 season. He is set to make $23.45 million before bonuses over the next seven years.

The new deals are expected to be approved Friday by the LSU board of supervisors. Johnson signed off on the agreement in mid-August, according a copy of the contract included in the board meeting agenda.
