PHOENIX (AZFamily) — With rain in the forecast Thursday and Friday while flooding still lingers from Wednesday’s storm, the City of Phoenix is helping residents get prepared.

The City has locations across Phoenix that have sand for residents to fill bags. Sandbags could be helpful in damming or diverting floodwater from monsoon storms.

These locations have sand free of charge, but residents will need to bring their own bags to fill and their own shovels to move the sand.
