GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay Police Chief Chris Davis visited Local 5 News on Thursday to recap the summer and share what residents can expect heading into fall.

Davis said that while most of the city’s youth were well-behaved this summer, there were issues on the CityDeck involving juveniles, in one case as young as 11 years old, causing disruptions to businesses.

“Well, I’m going to sound like a broken record because you’ve heard me say this before, but as parents it’s really important for us to know where our kids are, who they’re with, and what they’re doing,” Davis said. “As a parent myself, I know [teenagers] can be difficult, but when your 11-year-old is on the CityDeck creating disturbances and disrupting local businesses, that’s not acceptable.”
