The Town of Sylvan Lake is hosting a candidate information night on Sept. 10.

The event at the Municipal Government Building will provide information for community members interested in running in the 2025 municipal election.

Topics that people can learn about at the meeting include:

- Important details required for applying

- Time commitments

- Included duties

- Jurisdiction

- Boards and Committees

- Important Dates

During the event, Town staff and administration will be in attendance to answer questions and provide their experiences regarding running, the process, and serving Sylvan Lake.

The event is open to anyone and will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
