Fashion designer Giorgio Armani has sadly died aged 91 as the famed Italian company confirmed his passing.
The designer founded the luxury Italian fashion house Armani in Milan in 1975 - which designs, manufactures, distributes and retails haute couture, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, accessories, and home interiors.
The talented designer was best known for pioneering high-end fashion pieces for glamorous red carpet events including the Golden Globes, The Oscars, and The Met Gala.
In June, the Piacenza-born fashion creator did not appear at his runway shows while he recovered from an unknown illness.
Armani's team confirmed that he died "peacefully surrounded by his loved ones."
