Proposals to turn a barber shop in Dumbarton into a hot food takeaway are set to be approved by West Dunbartonshire’s planning team next week.
An application to transform the empty unit positioned within the ground floor of the Artizan Centre on High Street has been submitted to the local authority and if approved would operate from 4pm until 12am seven days a week.
The site is located next to a number of other premises including a cafe within the shopping centre as well as residential flats at 84 High Street.
Glencairn House, which is currently being redeveloped to form a new public library, and museum lies to the opposite side of High Street, also nearby.
