Williston’s own Joel Isaias Heraldez is in the running for Youth Athlete of the Year. Entering his junior year at Williston High School, the 5’11” Coyote combo guard has advanced in the voting from a group field starting at 63, landing himself in the top 5 where he presently sits in first place. He is hoping that the community will continue to rally behind him and vote him even further.
The Youth Athlete of the Year honor is awarded in conjunction with Sports Illustrated, The Jimmy V Foundation, 3Brand and the Why Not You Foundation, benefiting cancer research as well as the pursuits of youth athletes. kA 5:ClQ=ECQmkDA2?mpD E96 9@?@C’D >:DD:@?
