COLUSA, Calif. - Colusa County is reminding residents about the upcoming Statewide Special Election on November 4. Voters will decide on Proposition 50, which involves using a Temporary Legislative Congressional Map through a California Constitutional Amendment.

According to Colusa County, this will be an all-mail ballot election. All active registered voters will receive their ballots by mail no later than October 6.

Ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can return them by mail, drop them off at designated locations or use any official drop box or polling location throughout California.

For those needing a replacement ballot, they are available at the Elections Office on Jay Street in Colusa.

Ballot counting will take place at the Colusa County Registrar of Voter
