WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford 's sole focus is on Sunday's Week 1 game against the Texans and whatever physicality may come with it, not the aggravated disc in his back that sidelined him for most of training camp and the preseason.

"Oh, I'm gonna go play the game," Stafford said prior to Wednesday's practice. "Whatever happens, happens. I'm playing like I always play. I got no issues with a physical game. Obviously would love to stay as clean as possible, but I'm not thinking twice about that at all. I'm out there ready to go play."

Stafford, who is expected to start and be a full participant in practice this week, was not listed on the first injury report of the week released Wednesday afternoon. He has been at that participation level in every practice s
