ICE Boston has deported an alleged child rapist and turned him over to Jamaican authorities, according to ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations.
Albert George Davis, 59 — who had been illegally living in New England — has been wanted for years in his native country to face charges of rape and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age.
ICE Boston last month deported Davis and turned him over to Jamaican authorities, who sought his arrest for the rape of a child in 2020.
“Albert George Davis fled to Connecticut in an apparent attempt to avoid prosecution for the disturbing victimization of a child in Jamaica,” ERO Boston Deputy Field Office Director David Wesling said in a statement.
