BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo AKG Art Museum is hosting series of special events Friday tied to the Buffalo Bills’ season opener, featuring art, music and community voices.

It's part of their First Friday of every month where you Pay-What-You-Wish Admission and the museum is open from 10am-9pm on September 5, 2025.

The first 'Bills'-themed' event begin at 3 p.m. with Community Insights: Patti “The Ghost” Thomas, a special tour where artist Patti Thomas revisits artworks connected to the Victory and Defeat audio journey she created in 2023 with her husband, Bills Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas. The program runs until 4 p.m.
