The 7th Annual Preston Cope Classic Wiffleball Tournament is taking place today at the Calvert City ball park.

Preston's father, Brian Cope, told West Kentucky Star, "We have a lot of fun out there, and it's a good time for the community... everybody to get together and play the game that Preston loved so much."

The Murray State Racer Baseball team will be there to sign autographs and take pictures. The Marshall County High School Cheerleaders will be participating again this year, as well. In addition to the games, there will also be a silent auction featuring baseball memorabilia from Albert Pujols, Yadier Molina, Masyn Winn, Shohei Ohtani, and others.

All the proceeds benefit the Preston Cope Foundation, which funds scholarships and other community initiatives. To date, the Foundatio
