11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 6: Aquatic Life and Light Pollution plus children’s activities at Great Lakes Aquarium, Duluth. Learn about the importance of dark skies for animals and plants that live in our aquatic environment while exploring exhibits. Children’s activities from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

7 p.m. Sept. 10: Free planetarium show at the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium, University of Minnesota Duluth. The live, interactive full-dome theater experience explores our connection to the cosmos and the need to preserve the darkness of the night sky.

8-10:30 p.m. Sept. 12: Telescope Viewing Star Party at Woodstock Bay, Billings Park, 15 White Birch Trail, Superior. (Rain date: Sept. 13).
