If you don’t want to wait in a long line for some of Ashland’s most delectable baked goods at Mix Bakeshop, you’re going to need to get up early.

This might be hard, especially if you stayed up late the night before for an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production, but if you tarry too long in bed, don’t be surprised if you find yourself queuing up with the rest of the town, locals and visitors alike, looking for breakfast.

Mix, run by restaurateur Jamie North, opened in 2006 on the most visible corner of Ashland’s downtown Plaza, serving pastries, sandwiches and a whole host of desserts.

If you can’t find a little something here to treat yourself with, that’s a you problem.
