Jordan Hicks hasn’t worked out since arriving in June’s Rafael Devers trade, and now it appears he may be finished for the year.

According to a team source, the Red Sox will place Hicks on the 15-day injured list with a shoulder injury ahead of Friday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The club will call up left-hander Chris Murphy to fill his spot in the bullpen.
