There was a chance Micah Parsons could have stayed in the NFC East.
When Parsons was on the market this summer, prior to his blockbuster trade from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers , the Philadelphia Eagles made a push for a deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday.
Sources told ESPN, though, that Dallas — not surprisingly — did not want to move him to a division rival.
On “Get Up”, Schefter said the Eagles were “fairly aggressive in trying to trade for Parsons.”
He ended up going to the Packers following a lengthy battle between Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones regarding a new contract.
