WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — One of the victims of the Weber County shooting has passed away, and two other victims are still recovering, according to the latest updated provided by the Weber County Sheriff's office.

At around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31, Weber authorities received a 911 call of a man that had been shot in the area of 9300 W 900 S. Upon arrival, Weber County Sheriff's Office stated that deputies discovered that three people had been shot: 22 year old Jesus Cuadras Garcia, another adult male who suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and a 5-year-old girl who sustained gunshot injuries to her leg and hip.

Garcia succumbed to his injuries on Sept. 4.
