The Braves have made a few moves before this weekend’s matchup against the Mariners.
Jurickson Profar is back after a short stint on the paternity list. Congratulations to Jurickson on the little one and hope everything is okay!
Daysbel Hernandez is back in Atlanta. Daysbel has bounced back and forth from Triple-A Gwinnett. He’s posted a 2.72/4.32/5.57 line in 36.1 innings while he has been here. His walk rate is 7.43 per 9 innings this year. Is he fixed, I don’t know. But also, what else are we gonna do?
Luke Williams was/is a late casualty from the Ha-Seong Kim addition earlier this week. The Braves might have found their 2026 shortstop and Williams hung around anyway while Profar was home with the kiddo. Cal Quantrill is gone. It was a nice thought to have here, and he was available.
