And after popping the question to Taylor Swift last month, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed his advice for any others looking to reach that relationship milestone.

"You got to know your gal," Kelce said on the Sept. 3 episode of New Heights . "You got to know your gal or your significant other. You got to know them. You can't let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way."

While he noted it "may get the creative juices going" from looking at others' proposals, it's still all about knowing your person.
