CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Carson Schlesinger is a player who has been highly praised by both players and coaches. He’s a 22-year-old rookie stepping up, calling plays, and emerging as a leader in this Browns defense. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Schlesinger continues to impress him daily, both on and off the field.

With the Browns’ linebacking corps running thin, the team is asking a lot of the 22-year-old rookie, but they say he’s handling it just fine.

“I think all of it’s been tough in terms of learning the defense, learning the offenses we’re going against, and things like that,” Schwesinger said. “But having the guys around me and the coaches to help make that transition smooth and easy has been great.”
