Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Denver Broncos worth up to $120 million, including $70 million guaranteed, according to multiple media reports on Thursday morning.

Bonitto, who was entering the final season of his rookie contract and due $5.3 million in base salary, becomes the highest-paid non-quarterback in Broncos history, per ESPN. The new deal is for $106 million, his agency, Athletes First, announced. It can rise up to $120 million with incentives, per reports.

He is coming off his first Pro Bowl season. He set career highs with 13.5 sacks (third in NFL), 48 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 24 quarterback hits, one interception (returned 71 yards for a touchdown), two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 17 regular-season games
