Some in MAGA world are grilling two Republican lawmakers for breaking with GOP leadership and President Donald Trump .

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) hosted a news conference with survivors of late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse on Wednesday as they both push for more transparency from the Trump administration to release all government files related to the convicted sex offender’s case.

It came one day after Massie filed a much-anticipated discharge petition in an attempt to force a House vote, which would compel the Justice Department to make the Epstein files public. The measure has secured 214 signatures as of Thursday morning, and requires at least four more to reach the majority threshold to advance.
