HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut leaders are suing the Trump Administration over a stop order that was announced two weeks ago for an ongoing offshore wind project, but others are happy with the decision.
In an announcement today, Attorney General William Tong said he hopes this legal action will help get the Revolution Wind project back in motion.
The project was 80% complete, with 45 of 65 wind turbines in place off the Road Island coast. The project was set to generate electricity in 2026.
