Former Alabama star Amari Cooper may be calling it a career in the NFL.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Cooper has informed the Las Vegas Raiders that he no longer has the desire to play football and intends to retire. This news comes after Cooper signed a one-year deal with the team near the end of August.

Cooper spent 10 seasons in the NFL and is a five-time Pro Bowler, amassing 711 receptions for 10,033 yards and 64 touchdowns.

The Miami native became an Alabama great, helping the Tide to a BCS national championship in 2012 as a freshman. In his junior year, he won the Fred Biletnikoff award. Cooper ranks second in Alabama history for career receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions.
